2 COOL 4 SCHOOL

All of my notebooks look more like sketchbooks than anything else. I find it somehow easier to concentrate while drawing.

I study nutrition, and with that comes a lot of anatomy and physiology. Awesome subject. I have considered becoming a medical illustrator, but that requires a lot more skills than what I've got. It's hard work. I think I'll stick to drawing the beautiful parts of the human body (muscles, skeleton and such, versus most internal organs) when I feel like doing it. If you fancy this subject too, I recommend this book. Needed it for school, and got totally blown away by the illustrations.

So, here's a small sample of creations done during class:

A little goofy something at the end, hoho:

Johnny's Back

..Or MY back, actually.

Acrylic on leather. Started with stencil, then freehanded the rest, cause the stencil almost got broken because of all the tiny details, and a jacket isn't the most stable surface to paint on. I first did a stroke with white, to get the red colour to pop out. Red painting directly on a black surface will hardly show.
I will maybe go over it with another stroke, but I'm pleased with it!

Such an awesome band!!

About my Blog

Hey, guys!

I just thought I would explain why my blog is not that much "alive". Well, to be honest, I don't really do, or have the time to do, too much artwork in my everyday life. I simply started this blog so I could have somewhere to post my art, where the website didn't claim to have the rights to it (Facebook, anyone?). Sooo.. There WILL be more art (it's not that I don't have any ideas!) - when I find the inspiration and time to do it. Be patient!
Thanks. :)

Obsessive Cullen Disorder

Counting down for Breaking Dawn part 2..!! Only eleven months to go, haha.. Three months until BD pt 1 is released on DVD, though. I have preordered, of course. It can be done here (with discount!): http://cdon.no/film/the_twilight_saga_%3a_breaking_dawn_(part_1)-14682218

Breaking Dawn Part 1 was AMAZING. I was lucky enough to be on the pre-premiere here in Oslo with hundreds of fans. Also, Elizabeth Reaser who plays Esme Cullen was there.

I was very pleased with the film, as it stayed close to the book. The wedding, Isle Esme and the birth looked excactly like what I had imagined. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the tension between Rosalie and Jacob, though. Where was the blonde jokes? Or the dog bowl?

One of the greatest things about the Twilight films is definitly the music. That was one of the reasons why I loved the first film. The music was darker and less commerce than what I had expected, and it took me by surprise, really. In BD, there are some elements of the music from Twilight, and I just LOOOVE IT!
The Breaking Dawn Soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. You can stream it on Spotify, if you bother to check it out. I think you should.

I've seen some clips from BD pt 2, and I just CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

Let the countdown begin.

Stig's Skull

Made this for my friend Stig. It's a tattoo design. Excited to see how it will look like on skin, hah - if the tattoo artist approves it. What you make on paper with colour pencils will not necessary be possible - or at least look good - with ink on skin. Anyway, cool stuff to do!
